Funny how everyone was praising Capcom saying Capgod was back on top then a few hours later hating on them again 😂
TongueofMyth
I can’t believe that an ARPG game use such disgusting measures. Why are they Fuxked so greedy?
dnmnc
This is misleading. He didn’t say he hated fast travel. He said he hated those who didn’t pay extra for it. 😉
Seriously though, it is amusing to call something designed to reduce unnecessary tedium as boring.

Zetra3
Yep. Paying for a teleport point you can’t even use. Cause you’d by an 11th… and only 10 can be used at once.
God job paying for time you can get in a few hours, a little tiny bit sooner
phobox91
That’s what happens when gaming companies profits are more important than the game director’s vision and art

I will be going to Japan next month, write down questions i can ask the guy when i ll go to the Capcom headquarters.
undersquirl
I never fast travel in games and i gotta tell you, most games are shit at creating a world that’s not bland.
It goes both ways is what i’m trying to say.
MParaschinkna
That‘s why I don’t preorder games anymore.
Zipp_Linemann
Do people not realize that you can obtain them normally in game? Same with rift crystals and every other thing. It’s just Capcom’s dumbass thing they do with almost EVERY game since Devil May Cry 4 in 2008. I’m not defending microtransactions but if you just play the game this is not an issue.
It’s just like the “discourse” over buying red orbs in DMCV. It’s so piss easy to get them regularly in missions that people realized it’s not an issue in the slightest.
bibutt
You can fast travel for free too you just need to find the items…
StealTheSun666
Lol what? Trash game
West_Cut_8906
you aren’t BUYING the fast travel, you’re buying a fast TRAVEL POINT that you need ferrystones to teleport to, but by the time you have ferry stones you already have the FAST TRAVEL POINTS in your inventory, again the dlc is just goofy useless shit like DMC5, no reason to ever buy them
FluffyProphet
You unlock those playing the game. And they aren’t hard to get. The game just doesn’t have no fast travel. It’s just not like Skyrim where you can do it whenever you want.
Not defending the mtx… but yeah, fast travel is a mechanic in the game. It’s just different than other games
Guardian_85
So…you can fast travel, for a price. It’s about as stupid as the Zelda Skyward Sword amiibo.
Omgwtfbears
If you have to pay for it it’s not boring, it’s infuriating.
PlayerName77
Pretty sure those micro transactions are The pre order stuff sold individually.
the11thtry
Why? why? why do people keep talking while being uninformed?Â
I works like the first game, as you play through the game you get stones you can put down pretty much anywhere which become fast travel points, what the microtransaction is selling is those stone but earlier, you can get them all by just playing, mtx basically skips the whole thing (ruining the experience imo)
You people drive me nuts, this isn’t news, it was known before launch and nobody batted an eye, but now since you can pay for the stones earlier it’s suddenly an issue? Come the fuck on
hovsep56
Riftstones are found by exploring like in dd1.
You can only place 10 which is the amount you can find ingame
Sintinall
Text book switcheroo. Screw that game.
bandit-sector
These micros are useless to gameplay literally. I think they are there because some highest of high execs decided that its policy to have micros in all capcom games for the lazy or morons who buy them
Neither-Green-8201
So like the first game except you can buy ferrystones with real money now? Just play the game, guys
Clenmila
Maybe launch a game that is not shitty in performance.
ajgutyt
wait. it block ft behind another payment? and people still buy it?
dadmda
Nah, you people are hopeless, the game includes fast travel points, you can buy more in game and additionally you can buy some more with money, which aren’t needed according to people who have actually played the game
Individual-Match-798
This was the main reason why I dropped Dragon’s Dogma 1 – fast travel may be boring, but backtracking is FAR more boring
