Remember when the game director discussed why the game had little fast travel options and how he discussed how it ruins the experience in games? Well among the 21 paid dlc items, there is an option to pay to fast travel….this is pretty fucking egregious.

I am not sure if its the same director, but that is rich. DD 1 had super boring travel. Compare it to even Skyrim where you have some interesting or random quest chains. In Dragon Dogma’s one you could enjoy same copypasted 3 enemy types during your travel.
It looks like the first game in which you could drop teleporter markers. Sure there was a limited number of those but by the end of the game there was generally enough to get around fairly easily.
I suppose they didn’t want to completely eliminate traveling on the overworld which I suppose is fair for an open-world game.
A bit stupid they have extra markers as a paid DLC but whatever I’m just not gonna buy it

This is like the perfect time for something this crazy to be released. We’ve had a nice renaissance lately with Bg3 and Helldivers 2 with what games should be. This a great reminder of what these shitstain companies would prefer the industry look like.
