Melee lock-on has always been absolutely wild. Once they are within swinging range I don’t think it’s even possible to break the lock unless they stop spamming the button (or die obviously).

Cod’s aggressive lag comp + melee AA on controller = people on wireless consoles playing from farther away gets better hit reg.
We’ve seen tons of these instances where ppl thought it was skill based hit reg when their aim is way off or delayed, and yet the hit registers after you hit past the wall on your own screen
