My wanna-be corpo rat leveled up to a hardened professional.

  1. Im not changing it as I level up, but with wardrobe system I started to switch outits based on where I am or what Im doing. Like am I in the city centre trying to sneak somewhere? well than I will wear something fancy, am I in the aldecaldo camp preparing to ambush convoy than I will definitely not wear a suit.

Not as he levels up, but I usually give my V an update after the prologue and maybe after act 2. Like to show how things are affecting him in a way.

I got a kick out of changing Corpo V’s hair from something short and carefully groomed to something a little more unkempt and wild as the plot went on. Old habits die hard, but death can change priorities.

yes, My v proggressively grew a beard, (mostly due to Johnny’s influence and he was too desperate to live, to bother shaving)

I gave V better clothes after finding a high-end clothing store.

  6. I like to change it as I get more cyberware, PC allows for a lot of that. Add some face cyberware to show some upgrades in my cyberdeck or smart link, change the color of the cyberarm as I level up different tiers, eye colors for different well…eyes, hands, legs and stuff. Also I like to make it all purple progressively since that is my favorite color, start of with a rusted nomad arm and end the game with a sleek purple.

I change my V for certain missions but usually i just stick with one look

  8. Zimifrein

Not necessarily when I leveled up. More like when I didn’t feel like looking like that anymore.

I had my V in some pretty basic clothing through some of my playthrough, but as I started leveling up and piling on the cyberware and taking fights head-on instead of stealthy I decided it was silly to have him running around in a T-shirt and basic jacket. I’ve since given him more body armor and “tactical” looking clothing to better reflect the change in playstyle. His actual appearance hasn’t really changed though.

I change up my hairstyle after succeeding events.

I started with a ponytail in Arasaka HQ, then I changed to a shorter hairstyle after the heist, then I switched to twin buns during Panam’s questline because my hair will get “frizzy wizzy” when it’s too hot, then I went for Evelyn’s hairstyle during Pyramid Song, and I went back to twin buns again to close out the game.

For clothing, I switch outfits for specific sequences. Rally jacket and boots for the Badlands, large coat with high heels for regular missions, blacked out uniform for stealth, shorts, a tank top, and barefoot at the apartment, and my original Corpo uniform at the point of no return.

  11. Klangaxx

I had an outfit for each location, Watson, Japantown, Badlands etc.

  12. Dragonzaka

I have a different outfit for Night City vs Dogtown, and different ones based on the type of mission

  13. Secondhand-politics

These are actually really nice pictures. Good looking V.

  14. NeptuneShemptune

Yes. I always start off like a rugged merc with maelstrom gear and as I progress I start to use suit or cleaner outfits

    Step 1, create perfect V.

Step 2, look into mirror after starting a new game.

Step 3, immediately change your V because ewww

  16. Panro911

I change outfits based on what missions I’m doing.

I do change/add the chrome on my face as I progress. But I change the hair a lot to represent my characters growth in the lore I created. Before The Heist I usually have my V with a little bit flashier clothes/hair to represent the notoriety that he/she and Jackie are trying to claim and wanting to look the part. Then after the heist I have a shaved head and add the face scar that mimics the bullet that went through Vs skull. As my V progresses through the story and the grief starts to wither and hope grows, my V feels the need to represent his or herself again.

For the PL story I change the hair so I can “hide” in Dogtown.

  18. SillyAdditional

I change it literally every game day
