    You’d need an rtx 3000 series card for that level of performance.

    GTX 970 4gb retail = RTX 4070. Too expensive for that memory, replace the GTX 970 for midrange Nvidia Pascal/AMD Polaris (gtx 1050ti, GTX 1060 6gb, RX 570-RX 580).

    Wait for 16 gb midrange graphic card pricing to replace RTX 4070.

    PS4 era with 60fps => 4 gb graphic card and above. Nvidia Pascal/AMD Polaris is the best price/performance for that era.

    PS5=> probably 16 gb.

    My 960 is on its last legs too, luckily never cared about GTA but new Cyberpunk expansion would murder it so have to upgrade before that.

    It will probably require much higher than a 4th gen i7 and GTX 970. If rockstar actually releases a well optimized version for PC it will probably have a minimum requirement of a high end gaming PC from 6 years earlier similar to GTA V. That’s my theory based on absolutely nothing.

    Can’t wait for my 3080 that has been steamrolling every game I play to have a stroke with this one
