Will never forget locking our drunk irl friend in the brig while we got drunk in game, and fried n ate leaches n worms. Ahhh what a pirates life it was.

I’ve been playing on the PvE server with my kids and it’s been an absolute blast. The only downside is the constant crashes (on pc) 🙁

It was so good for a couple of years. Too bad Rare let exploits and cheaters run rampant, neglected bugs and server maintenance, and ruined some of the better missions.
I have slim hope it comes back to the quality it once was.

Game could’ve been so much better if it just had actual loot instead of gold for cosmetics.
Imagine finding treasure and it had different weapons, armor, cosmetics, trinkets, ect with different stats on them.
I’m positive if they went this direction the game would’ve been a massive hit.

It really sucks that they removed arena mode. The new PVP isn’t the same as the big ship battles with capture the flag. And why can’t they also add fleet battles? Imagine how fun that would be.

We were playing with an online friend on his birthday. He went AFK for a min then we all voted him to the brig. When he returned we all played “Happy Birthday” on our pirate instruments, downed our grogs, then vomited on him.
