A good deal > a good gpu

well overall a gtx 750 ti for $10 would be a good decision lol

    4060

Lower bit rate and less VRAM compared to a 3060

  3. Wasn’t there a GPU that had 3.5GB of ram and was stated/marketed as having 4GB or some bullshit. That’s a bad gpu.

  4. Sim_Daydreamer

Intel gpu’s are bad no matter the price if you want to play something other than newest/still highly popular games and/or have motherboard that does not support rebar

That setup in the park always reminds me of GTA5 where you start tripping balls. LMAO.

If one looks through the entire history of GPUs, they will find some stinkers.

It all depends on your budget and what games you want to play and at what graphic settings. I rocked a GTX 950 for 9 years and got used to gaming at 720p but upgraded to an RX6600 and was blown away that I could run games at 1080 high. For 200$ the price was right.

4090 is bad. If your card melts down and potentially starts a fire due to shitty design decisions, then it’s a bad card regardless of price.

Intel Arc was bad when it came out and driver support was extremely poor. Luckily they’ve been massively improving eversince.

Gotta be true, innit. But who discounts price in the equation?

  10. Far-Land-Cruise

Agreed literally pc boils down to how much money you have and as the proud owner of a stock 4060 I rock that cheap discount gpu all day with 280fps on cs2

To me the only good GPU is a GPU capable of running any game in 4K max settings.

Rx 6500xt is a bad product and I will die on this hill.

I got a RTX 4080 Super “open box” from a retailer that had 10% off. They apparently test any open box cards to make sure they work normally and that seems to be the case… have to say though that price might have been right, but I was pretty nervous before I turned it on.

I don’t know why people shit on the 4060.
I have one, upgraded from a dying 1060.
And it runs everywhere fantastic in 1080p

    I wanted a new card
At the time it was on offer for LESS than I could get a 3060
Granted less Vram but better performance and far lower power consumption.

So that being said I agree with this statement
    A deal is a deal.

    I mean, I wouldn’t take a GT710 even if it was free.

  16. My 1080 is 7 year old at this point, i have yet to find a game that motivate me to upgrade.

    Facts

It’s not that I think Nvidia GPU’s are bad GPU’s, there’s no arguing they’re the performance and feature king

But 800 bucks for a midrange card? Get out of here. Not happening.
