I put a “Noctua NF-A14 Industrial PPC 3000 PWM” on a 3rd party H13 filter made for the “BlueAir-411”.
The fan just fits perfectly into the supportless Hepa filter, while the packaging from the fan snugly closes off the bottom.
For control I used a cheap AliExpress USB-C 12V PWM controller. cost me less than 10 bucks.
I am actually waiting for the 3D printed parts to be printed for a proper device. But tbh, if you don’t have a 3D printer and just want a cheap, performant, small, quiet air purifier, all you need is the fan, filter, and controller.
I mean an air purifier is just a fan/filter combo right? This is brilliant

How does it work?

The pro version of this is to duct tape a box fan to some furnace filters. Called a Corsi-Rosenthal box and it actually works, it’ll purify air for an entire house on the cheap.
