it bugs me too, it’s night city, there should be chop shops for cleaning cars on every corner
play on PC there is a mod that allows you to steal cars, keep them, and summon them.
there is also another mod that lets you change said cars to different variants, like if you have white with blue stripe you could change it to the Red car, or the blue car, or the xxx car. as long as there is a variant of that model you can change to it.
the armored [nomad] cars are the same, there are mutliple models of the same car, but with different [paint jobs] like aldecaldos, or wraiths

Because they didn’t develop that feature…
Pretty straightforward…
It’s a reflection of real life. There are loads of cars on the street where I live but I can’t just add them to my inventory because I found them there. Which is a shame.
Because it’s stealing. That’s the real answer. In the real world you can’t just seize people’s cars and make them your own. The game is emulating the real world in this respect.
If you don’t care about realism, you can have any car you want. Just install mods.
No personal garage?
Maybe because you would end up appreciating the car you steal less and after collecting 40 something random car it’d be just another boring car. It feel kinda special when you get your hand on that wow factor car with this awesome paint job, knowing fully well it will eventually end up smashed and burn between firing cops and a full blown gangoon war.
I think the developer didn’t want to make another one of those GTA like game and they succeeded very well.
I heard people saying “oh yeah it’s like gta” as I was playing CyberPunk on the steam deck and I was like yeah no like absolutely not, I can see why you’d say that but it’s not like GTA at all unlike a long list of game I wont name. Cyberpunk will make you forget all about gta, once you walk out of that car and experience a full on FPS-RPG like no other.

Not relevant to the topic just chiming in to say your V is cvnty af in the best way
