This brings back so many memories. I miss the ps3 /wii days

This game had so much heart and it really helped start and popularize the kind of content creation sandbox games we see today.
It really doesn’t get enough credit. Probably because it was an exclusive honestly. If any game out there should be released to the masses it should be this one.
I enjoyed 2 and 3 but this one was really something special.

You just unlocked a memory I forgot I had!! Omg

Sackboy’s adventures is on steam.

Can’t believe I almost never played this game. Teenage me ignored it because it just looked too “for kids”, then the hack that brought PSN down for like 3 months happened.
They offered two free games, this and a game I already had, so the choice was clear.

I was so sad when the servers went down. I know there’s a level archive somewhere but I’m not sure how to set all that up.

This is peak 2009, I miss the game so much.. 🙁

The soundtrack to this game still fucking slaps.
The first time I booted it up, I was blown away by the whole concept of the game, especially the level builder. I’d never seen something that complex in a console before, it felt more like a PC game.
Also, the sound of the bubbles containing the stickers and parts popping is ASMR heaven for me to this day. And Stephen Fry’s voice as the narrator was transcendental. The way he says ‘popit’ and ‘stickers’ never fails to make me smile.

The most wholesome game ever made

I eagerly follow the development of Restitched – a fan made successor to LBP. Check it out, if you’re hoping to get that LBP fix again one day, on PC no less!

If you miss it, you should play the new one that was made like 2 years ago, really good

Whatever happened to LBP? I have 1-3 and then the random offshoot called sackboy’s big day on PC or whatever the title was and thought it was ok. Did they not sell very well after the first couple or something? My now wife and I played through 1-3 in college and she thought they were delightful despite not being a gamer whatsoever.

You can get LBP3 on the PS4/5. And although it’s not quite the same, Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a fun platformer in the LBP family b

For those of us that never played it, can you compare it to any other games? I remember seeing the gameplay on YouTube a loooong time ago but never tried it.

There are “stickers” in my saved game of my kids and their friends who are not in Kindergarden, now those kids are in college.

Well I had a dream about my ex who left more than a year ago so to each their own I guess (:

How this hasn’t been remastered with a PC release is beyond me tbh
