The Tower ending is poorly written. They sacrificed logic and common sense to make it as sad as all of the other endings, even though it doesn’t make sense.
Viktor should be a romance option for the women AND the men (I’m a straight male)
The show should have been 2 episodes longer.
Update: To expand on this, they should have made episode 4 span over two episodes; maybe give a proper introduction to Falco (beyond being a background character) and maybe expand on the crew dynamics. They could have maybe added another one after episode 7, maybe to show more of David and Lucy just being in a relationship together.

Edgerunners was a solid anime, but not nearly as good as arcane
The show is massively overrated. I almost found it boring
David didn’t show any skill whatsoever besides using the Sandi, and I was pleased when smasher destroyed him easily even with the OP cybersuit.

Really made me wanna shut it off. Dont get me wrong, I loved the show, but that song is actually atrocious and cringe.
Kiwi is perfectly justified in her actions. How David was acting they entire crew was gonna get wiped out eventually. She took the beat deal she could abd ran for it.
Also I’m glad David died and Lucy shouldn’t have made it out.
V being told they have barely any time left to live completely ruins any immersion in terms of logically wanting to do side quests and explore.
Edge Runners was great for revitalizing Cyberpunk 2077, but on its own is was a generic Anime with pretty generic characters and story. IMO it probably would have not stood on its own merits and was carried by Cyberpunk 2077.
There are not meant to be any happy endings. This is Cyberpunk.
I found David intensely unlikeable from the start of the first episode and that made it kind of hard to get into.
I don’t like anime so I never watched it.
Gimme an 80s western style animation any time.

Edgerunners was fun. But the premise was boy finds magic doodad and now awesome. Meet magic love girl. We didn’t get to explore the corporate world, and Night City wasn’t really explored.
I’d have preferred short stories set in Night City. Maybe they sometimes intersect, etc.

I stopped watching when David asked “are guys cyberpunks?” And whats his face said “yeah, whats it to ya?”. Was way too on the nose cringe

I think it’s really lame that Panam is the only romantic option with a dedicated ending. It would be awesome if you could escape with Judy, riot with Kerry, or get help from River (although imma be honest idk how river could help)
Thinking about it again a Kerry ending has so much potential to be sick as hell, you could decide to start reviving Samurai and lead riots against all the major corps.

I’m really glad that the anime has amplified the popularity of cyberpunk so much. But anime in general is shitty IMO. The dialog always sounds like something an 11 year old would think is really cool and adult. This one is no exception. It’s painful to listen to.

I have head canoned away all inconsistency by deciding nothing after the heist when Dex shoots V actually happened.
We go on an adventure in a dying mind as it’s being overwritten by an engram.
The whole game was V trying to come to terms with his death, loss of Jackie, and failing to even be remembered and the slow creep of a strangers memories slowly taking him over.
There is nothing to tie it to the game, but I like the theory.
I always hated this meme, you close your eyes when you do that, so did they, whoever came up with this was never in an actual relationship.
With the talk of dislike for specific actors for in the roles they have, my thought is that they should have had multiple of each gender for V when it came to voice actors.
People who say either gender of v is obviously superior are most likely just sexist in some way. Neither wowed me, and i dont think the devs actually had any intention for which you should play as. They include differences in dialogue cause there are differences in experience based on gender presentations.
The stealth is absolutely horrendous
