It’s a better deal if you pick it up and walk out the door with it like those who shop like that at apple stores

70PPI is abysmal, acceptable if you’ll sit a controller’s distance away but consoles can’t even run 250hz. There’s no point for this thing to exist, honestly.

is it an IPS panel?

I have THIS monitor. I know you’re in a Sam’s club. (Where i got mine as well) It works great. However, what people are saying about the resolution being low for the screen size is totally right. I got it in black Friday for like $50 off.
I wouldn’t pay msrp for this.

I ALMOST THREW UP WHEN I SAW FHD 32

I don’t even want to imagine how horrendous 1080p at 31″ would look like.

Anything that is that large at that price point is gonna be kinda crap.
We kind of need the resolution to know something like that. If what other posters are saying is true and it’s 1080…that’s not gonna look nice. Save your money and get a smaller 1080p monitor for less. It will be more pixel-dense.

People won’t agree but I have one of these and a 1440p ultrawide and I play competitive shooters on this monitor for super high refresh rate and it’s fine. 1080p doesn’t look great but my eyes always adjust
FunFact5000
27” 1080p I love mine. However, if you are close to it you can start to see pixels. 1440p really helps with that, but also talking more gpu power. I run a 3080 on am5 7900x3d.

1440 yes 1080 is probably not I have two 1080 monitors 27inch each and wish I had got 1440 at the time
LaundryMan2008
Looks like the ones in my school but less long and not curved, the ones we have are good monitors but would have costed £150 less, this one may be justified if it has a higher refresh rate and 1440p or more quality.
Don’t have experience in new computers so don’t trust my advice, take it with a grain of salt.

No… Spend a little more get an LG Ultra Gear 1440p

Since the comments have mentioned the resolution. I’ll just say if you aren’t married to the idea of a curved monitor, and are looking for a good deal, on amazon they have this one for $149.
SAMSUNG S60UA 27-Inch QHD 2560 x 1440 Hi-Res 75Hz IPS Monitor HDMI, DP1.2, USB-C, Tilt, Swivel and Pivot (Renewed)
I got it a few months ago and its a great value compared to regular price over $300.

32in 1080p is horrible

Does it say whether it’s the 2k or 1080p version, too much for the 1080p imo.

1080p on a 31.5″ screen just isn’t gonna look good, great refresh rate though
Geek_Verve
Typically if a product says “gaming” in the name, it’s probably not a great deal.

If it was 1440p then of course. 1080p on a 31.5″ screen is just not going to look great.
1080p on 27″ would be fine, once you get up to 31″ you really want 1440p/4k.
