I remember working for EA and developing a Star Wars game that will never see the light of day and giving feedback to the EP saying ” Hey , I think players would like to play as scoundrels in this star wars universe game ” They dismissed me as not understanding what Star Wars fans want and insisted only Rebels and Empire roles are what star wars fans really want . Completely ignoring the fact that his fave character is Han fucking Solo . But yeah ok .

I could not give less of a shit. I would downgrade any and every game to bare bones graphics if it meant it ran well, and the gameplay was good. Do people REALLY see good graphics as a selling point? I’m sure it aids in marketing obviously, how it looks is the first thing people will gonna see and judge a game off of without any more information, but who would ever buy a game just off it looking good?

I wish I could get excited about this game but to me, it looks so so uninspired. It looks like 8 other games I’ve played with a star wars filter.
Sure the graphics and dlss 3 might look good (maybe) but that just doesn’t matter if its a reskinned far cry game. I would bet that nothing in this game surprises me, nothing will feel new or exciting, it will be just another ubisoft 5/10, on rails, safe game.

Gonna wait to see if this is actually fun before buying. I’m not one of those people who doesn’t care about graphics, but they aren’t everything. Helldivers 2 released without these features so they could focus more on delivering a good game, and I love that. Game looks pretty enough without the latest graphics tech and is actually enjoyable and not broken at launch.
