Where do I begin, the lot is from a seller that I bought 4 CPUs from before and 3 worked.
Well this lot had some extra goodies, just a few 5950x, both 5900xs and a 5700g. That isnt it more work I just can’t think of all of them that do.
I have to get an am5 board to test the 7900x and 7950x but so far it’s working out great:)

Feels like a lootbox, is it a fair price if they were all dead?
AirportResponsible38
But how do you actually fix them if they’re broken?
KnightBlad3
will u sell them? bc thats a lot of profit
DigitalGT
Looks like it paid out with the 5 5600gs alone nice!
ZeXaLGames
sooo, which ones work
EMcX87
Ah so that was you that bought it.
Remember seeing this a few days ago when I grabbed my 5800x.
Hope it works out in your favor!
NonameideaonlyF
Are you selling the ones that work?
willard_swag
Just saw the post for this on marketplace
Shinodacs
Are you going to point out the fact that they were broken when you put them on CL ?
KamiKaze0132
I’m just surprised there’s a case for them, is it a custom 3d printed one or are these manufactured for the times people buy 57 broken CPUs? lol
Hattix
I’ve done similar before.
Bought a palette of water damaged GTX 750 Tis at a salvage auction. Got around 80% of them passing burn in and saleable.
LaundryMan2008
For whatever reason I cannot put a picture in the comments despite being on desktop and having the button available but unclickable so here is the link to the happy for you baby meme.
CPUs are one of the most durable PC parts, how come 1 single person has so many to sell?
They are selling as ‘broken’ or ‘as is’?
CJ_BARS
You nutter
OneMindNoLimit
Sometimes people sell parts saying they’re broken so they can get away with DOA sales. I did work at a community college. They’d sell old equipment and label it “not working” so they could just get rid of it.
BananasAndSporks
I’d be curious to know which ones end up fixable.
fairlyoblivious
Just passing POST doesn’t mean they aren’t broken, you need to run prime95 on each for like a day or more and I bet most will fail.
999demonz
Sell the working ones individually and put the broken ones in epoxy cubes to sell them as decorations on Etsy etc.
hyp3rj123
Not trying to be an asshole here but just because they POST doesn’t mean they work 100%. I think you have to say least stress test them and see if they turbo correctly and ensure the memory controller works too.
GamrAlrt
what’s the process to test if they work? do you just check to see if they boot or do you do cpu benchmarks on them
juggarjew
Just because it boots into BIOS does not mean it “works”.
iimFrostii
If you don’t mind me asking, what processes are you doing to repair these? I have 0 clue what you would be doing but Im curious and intrigued as to how you are repairing them.
awesome_abood
Where do you buy it from?
mikee8989
Better hope none have dead memory channels.
Adolfo_42
How much would you be willing to sell a 5600 or 5800x or 5900x/5950x?
Emu1981
What you could do is test all 57 CPUs, pull out those which work and then sell the rest for $21 each as a bulk lot of “Untested Ryzen CPUs”.

Didn’t know you could use cheerios as thermal paste!
NotARealDeveloper
You need to benchmark them to know they work. You can’t just go into bios and conclude they work fine.

I’m sure you know what you’re doing but just because they POST doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not faulty.
MightyMrWiggle
Would totally buy a 5600g or 5700g from ya.
eggbiss
what is the procedure for testing the cpus work?
Visible_Interview134
Guys guys its probably a repair shop that uses extra pins
_YeAhx_
Where do you live OP?
Illustrious_Good277
Kind of find it interesting that OP completely ignored the testing procedure questions… stay outta this guy’s market. “POST’d therefore worth full resell value” 🫣
Rafael3110
Op? U got a amd 9 7900x3d?
tweezy558
Hook me up with one brother I’ll give you 1 random game from my steam library. Only a fool wouldn’t take this offer
Bin_Masoud
I hope everything works out well for you. 🙂

Yeah, just because it posts doesn’t mean anything. I see a lot of refunds being issued by you in the near future because you don’t seem to know what you are doing. It would take literal days to validate one of these CPUs properly as working from this point. If they were advertised as broken, they probably are in some way, even if they post and boot into Windows. You can’t buy lots of scrap expecting to get functional components. You are gambling that a bunch of experienced tech sellers made several mistakes when assessing these CPUs and I don’t like your odds. Better to just go to the casino and place a 1:1 bet on the roulette wheel.
I suggest you learn how to do gold recovery from CPUs because that’s the only way you’re getting your money back.
eppic123
Define “work”. Just because they boot, it doesn’t mean they will be stable under stress or that the memory controller will work correctly.
DongPablo
Hey how much for Ryzen 5 5600?
master-overclocker
How many work ?
Bulky-Ad-4688
my dear sir may i have the 7 5800x ? I cannot afford a cpu and this lad has bought like 60 of em
ChoiceFood
My broken ryzen would crash the desktop when I ran a game for a few minutes. I don’t think testing to see if it posts is a reliable way to see if a cpu is working.
Blackhawk-388
So how do you test them to see if they work?
LEGENFDZ
If the 7000 ones work do u mind me getting the 7950 for 50$? 🥲🥺
