# Format
Here are all of the stages of the event.
**Group Stage:**
* 24 teams are split into 3 groups and face each other in a round-robin format (A vs B, B vs C, A vs C) over the course of 3 days.
* Each team plays 12 matches.
* Team placements are based on all 18 matches.
* The top 8 teams advance to the Grand Finals, while the bottom 16 teams are placed into Last Chance.
**Last Chance:**
* The bottom 16 teams from Group Stage play 12 matches over the course of 2 days.
* The top 8 teams advance to the Grand Finals, while the bottom 8 teams are eliminated.
**Grand Finals:**
* The top 8 teams from Group Stage and Last Chance play 18 matches over the course of 3 days.
PEC: Spring is played on patch 28.1 with v5.0.0 of [SUPER](https://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitivePUBG/wiki/esports-guide/#wiki_pubg_esports_ruleset).
The event has a $50,000 prize pool.
# Road to PGS & PGC
The top 2 non-Global Partner Teams on the final PEC: Spring leaderboard will qualify directly to PGS 3 and 4.
By placing well in the Grand Finals of PEC: Spring, teams can earn PGC Points which will earn them qualification slots at the PUBG Global Championship at the end of the year.
PEC: Spring is the first of three regional events in EMEA to award PGC Points this year.
