For context, quick hacks got heavily nerfed in the expansion update and enemies can track you more easily
On the ps4 and Xbox one version however, they’re op as fuck and basically a free gig win and since CDPR abandoned those versions you can use them to relive pre nerfed quick hacks

It’s still kinda op; especially as a distraction with stealth. Also, depending how fast you take them out, you can’t be detected. It’ll fail. Edit: I’m on easy mode, and have no perk points in the Stealth attribute.

Netrunner in current version is way more fun to me than on release. It just takes a bit more effort to make an OP build with it than before.
MadameDecay
Nah. Once you unlock overclock and queue, it’s OP as shit. Also, Memory wipe is your friend

More like reverse these. It’s much stronger now. Many hacks were broken before 2.0 and some even before 2.1.
Now you can just drop entire armies without them even being able to fight back at all or just blow them with contagion and a little fire.
Willdror
Nah, I prefer the way it is now

Overclock and queues is worth being traced
Netrunning is better now than its ever been
My only real gripe with the game now is the stupid ass scaling attribute checks and the low number of gigs in corpo plaza, westbrook and the badlands

I actually argree with this one but netrunning has been even more fun and challenging after 2.0 update. Enemy may be more easily detect us and it cost more ram and combo upload hack to someone. Netrunning is technically the strongest build in the game even sandivestian can be easily defeated by cripple movement and cyber ware malfunction. After thjs update net running seem to be more balanced but still overpowered by late stage.

You can now system reset like 6 people in span of 10 seconds.

Dude I’ve never even used a netrunner build and I could take out entire criminal organizations with hacks through cameras. I usually go blade and throwing knives.

Disagree. I did 2 netrunner runs on the new patch and while the early game involved a lot more gunplay, by the end I was nuking maxtac with quickhacks.

I really don’t understand what people are talking about when they say netrunner is weak now, I played him in winter and I absolutely obliterated any enemy that stood before, I didn’t even hide from them, I just blew their heads off in 1 hit for weaker enemies and 2 hit for beefier ones, and that’s on highest difficulty
CoffeeSorcerer69
I prefer the current net running. There’s so many more builds for it now, my favorite is the classic ghost runner. Pull up in front of the building, ping something, and then run through cams and kill everyone over the course of five minutes.
