This is actually a valid method for cleaning HW. Be sure to remove any cmos batteries. I typically put a few tablespoons of white vinegar to prevent mineral deposits and I never use detergent or the dry cycle
that is NOT how you install STEAM sir! Besides do people even play Rust anymore?

Maybe with distilled water, but never tap water.

Surely everyone knows that this is the kind of cleaning that is done by extreme overclockers and that the motherboard will be fine if precautions are taken like removing CMOS batteries

People are cringing but this is somewhat okay believe it or not. As long as you don’t use super hot water and you don’t use any soaps. And let the boards dry out entirely (36-72 hours) before you try to use them you should be fine

Holy mother of board
Hope there is no CMOS battery in there.
Spring cleaning? *throws chair*
OP put some obsolete mobo’s in the dishwasher for shock value.
Cringe.
How about capacitors? They’d surely have to be drained for milenia or two before going in…

Average overclocker
No mobo gets dirty enough for this to be needed. This is stupid for so many reasons.
Now dry them in the microwave.
POV: The mobos begging you not to do this
