This is from the Tower ending, right? It’s been a while since I did the endings so I can’t remember them exactly, but in this one Panam has no idea that V was in a coma for 2 years. Nobody from the FIA or NUS told her about V’s condition, so what was supposed to be a shorter trip out of town turned into a 2 year thing with zero communication, so this is Panam freaking out over it

The one thing is that Panam in this ending kinda contradicts the other ending where
SPOILERS
V gives his body to Johnny/Johnny takes over and Panam knows something is up, picks up on it then vows to hunt Johnny down

Honestly its he only part of the tower ending I’m not a fan of. Everyone else kinda moves on. But the first thing that comes to her mind is that V abandoned her.
Bro could have gotten kidnapped by the FIA, Arasaka or just fricking dies from cyber cancer. There are so many possible conclusions and they choose such a whacky one to make drama.

I truly think this ending is COMPLETE garbage. It genuinely makes no sense for V to not alert ANY of their friends that they’re GOING TO GET SURGERY TO SAVE THEIR LIFE. After waking up from a bullshit coma that no one warned us about, every single person could not give a flying fuck about you or what happened and basically everyone’s lives have gone down the drain (looking at you Vik). Of course, Cyberpunk is all about how there are no good endings in Night City, but if you are thinking about it from a realistic perspective, silently fucking off without notifying your close friends that have helped you all along the way makes no god damn sense.
Whatever though, I guess they’re allergic to thinking these situations through completely. I feel like most decisions in Cyberpunk are hollow as shit and I care less about the NPCs and their stories than the fun gameplay the game has. After 4 playthroughs of the game I got tired of the same storylines with almost no variety in how you can tackle them. Hopefully Orion is miles better. Maybe even the game they originally promised.

V sucks at explaining a situation, even if they only thought they’d be gone for a short while
