I remember picking up this game as a kid as an impulse buy for like ten bucks on clearance at a Woolworth’s in the early 90s, prior to the store going out of business. Spent countless hours on it.
I later acquired a PC and tried to play it there, and was disappointed to discover that it lacked the SNES version’s special buildings.

I had a pile of N-Force magazines from this era, packed with stuff like this. I finally went to my mum’s garage to get them last week and… gone. All gone.

Sim City on the SNES was the first game I bought with my own money as a kid. Worked a part time summer job and bought it with the money from that, for full retail price. SNES games were expensive.

Lame claim to fame; I’ve been in Will Wright’s mom’s house.
Will Wright was my childhood friend’s uncle.
He got us all the SimCopter cheat codes.

Was one of the first titles my dad got for me way back when. I think I sunk as many hours into it as I did RPGs from the era, if not more.
