There aren’t many in the games I’ve played recently but yeah I get that. I find as I get older I just want to get on with the gaming and cut some story content unless I’m really in to the game.

The worst are games that just use any button input to skip them. You push “start”(Modern controllers don’t call that button that anymore)to see if you can pause, and it just skips them without a confirmation. Luckily those seem to be mostly going away now.

Maybe after the first playthrough. Someone told me they skipped all the dialog in Witcher 3 lol. It blew my mind skipping all the dialog in a story based rpg. Why not just play Fortnite or something

Anyone remember how a lot of games (might have been primarily PC games?) used to launch straight into the first cutscene right when the game was launched for the first time, before you ever even got to the main menu or chose to start a new game? And if you missed it, there was often not an easy way to view it again.

I hate it when you’ve only got an hour to play and the cutscenes are long

Some games hide loading with cutscenes. It’s better to watch a story than a spinning circle lol
