Felt kinda proud of my PC :). I got a monitor and an HP workstation about 9 months ago after our teacher told us we could bring it home if we could fix it (it had a bad ram). I upgraded it over the months with savings. I know i got a bomb in there but the powersupply was available to me at the time so it’s what i got. I bought my classmate’s old case and he threw in the arctic fans and rgb strip with it. It works for my intended purposes and it can play games just fine. I think I spent about $130 in my currency for it, how’d I do?

Proud of you man!!! Congratulations on your first ever PC and even more so for building it yourself!!!
As for the fan and the strip. It doesn’t seem to light up when the pc is turned on,maybe you have it unplugged? Try the strip along the inside of the case towards the glass panel and the rbg fan in the rear…
But before any of this, please mount the HDD. It appears to just be resting like that, if you don’t have a mount or your case didn’t come with one, try to salvage from some old one. You can seriously damage the HDD and lose all your data if you aren’t careful.

What a good start to PC gaming! I made do with a quad core athlon and an R9 270X back in the day. I was on a budget!

I had the same cpu, upgraded to i7 4770 a few months ago cause it was dying, besides I’ve got a 1060 6gb, so it’s pretty much the same setup, nice to see someone else who can enjoy such a setup. Have fun with it!

for 130$, a beast imo.
