11 years later, nothing has rivaled the swansong expansion for my favorite sci-fi RPG series

The Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3 is so good, I still recommend people skip it until the very end of the game. The memories it leaves you with are too good for them to be anything but the final thing you will remember about the trilogy.

It is quite brilliant and more than makes up for the slightly goofy finale.

That said I do think cyberpunk is as good if not better in terms of heartfelt friendships and bonds. First playthrough had me sobbing my heart out at the end.

Prey: Mooncrash for gameplay. I’ve NEVER played anything like it at the time. When things “click” in your head it’s game on

I still can’t wrap my head around why the trilogy is not on Switch. EA were first in line to promise support but all they’ve delivered are stripped down and hobbled versions of FIFA. ME Trilogy with all the DLC included would print money.

Happy Ending Mod + Citadel after final mission is everything I wanted from ME3

I liked Mass Effect but I didn’t think it was as good as Reddit makes it out to be.

Didn’t like the citadel DLC at all. Really breaks the atmosphere of the game just to give the players good feelings. Seems like that’s what people wanted, but it always felt like this “ah, we know you guys actually just want your friends instead of a good story or something that makes sense, here you go, have fun”

Would have rather they tried to fix the ending than get Citadel.
