I’ve been guessing it’s Samantha.
I wouldn’t look too deep into just the mirrors. The items you gather for the rifts all have personal meanings to one of the characters (like the first rift having items associated with Samantha).
Dialogue in the Rift and intel suggests it’s a Dark Aether replica of Jansen- early launch Intel sees Barrera theorizing if the Dark Aether can fully replicate a human being, and Jansen says that the Entity’s voice is one she’s known since her childhood.
Some of the new Rift dialogue suggests that the Entity first appeared to Jansen in her own reflection in the water. There’s also dialogue where they beg us to bring their “sister”, which they say will “make them whole again.”
