pricing is obvisouly pretty awful for both of them, but between them, i’d probably pay the extra money.
the regular 5700 is a piece of OEM garbage thats bordering on an actual scam while the 7700x is actually a decent CPU on a platform that might actually be able to enable an upgrade at some point – assuming you dont get completely screwed on the board selection.
4060Ti isnt the greatest card, but the 16gb version might at least allow it to stay relevant for a little longer.
The 300$ you save on the cheaper ones are probably gonna come back to bite you when the compromises made for it require ealier upgrades.

If you can build your own, or you know someone as a family member or friend that will not run away at the first sight of trouble or financial fuck up then I would suggest building your own.
My last pre-built was CyberPower. They make you jump through hoops like every pre-build company should you encounter any problems but they were not exactly expedient about it. More than likely things they havent listed like motherboard or CPU WILL fail within maybe a year, HOPEFULLY within warranty.
If you have experience with PCs and know when a motherboard or GPU has failed it is VERY FUCKING frustrating dealing with a company you have ordered a prebuilt from.
Even if you tell them “fuck you, dont care, its not working, im shipping it back to you to replace whatever the fuck isnt working” they will still have you trying to get you jumping through hoops to test random parts
If you can built your own you are probably looking at upgrading to a GPU closer to a 4080/4070Super TI.If you have any problems you will be fighting individual components warranties etc but frankly nothing short of what a pre-built company will make you do anyway.
As for the PC.32GB will probably serve you better for the future. Just check ram speed.Get either a 5800x3d or a 7800x3d……anything else is shit.
1st pc that was $900 all november 2023. i could not pay that price now. only at $900 was it a buy.

Check directly on the cyberpower website, there is a build for 1500 with a 4070 ryzen 7 7700 or a 4070 super // ryzen 5 7600 for 1575
I would recommend building your own. Not because I look down on prebuilt but because MOST prebuilt systems are sold at prices not even that local monopoly would dare sell things at.

Just FYI, my buddy just bought a 2600$ PC from cyberpower.
It arrived with the fans installed backwards and it wouldn’t post. VGA and CPU light on mobo.
I helped him trouble shoot and deduced the gpu was damaged.
Cyberpower PC took 3 weeks to r “repair” and seems back to him.
Still broken.
Cyberpower refused to pay for shopping for a refund, so he rma’d again.
This time they sent him a new build.
The fans were backwards again, the AIO was different, the ram was different, different GPU, and guess what….. the part of the GPU that slots into the mobo….. cracked.
So it’s been over a month since it first showed up and he still has no PC.
Buy somewhere else.
yikes. 16GB of system RAM. bad price for both and i’m 99% certain that those same systems were actually cheaper a few months ago.

U can get a 4070 super and 7800X3D for about $1600 at Best Buy absolute tank of a pc for 1440p and will last for atleast 4 years the ones u showed here are going to need an upgrade way sooner

I know it’s not a desktop but I got this laptop from Best Buy and I thought this was a solid deal for a gaming laptop. I did have a desktop prior which I built. I’d recommend you build your PC, you’ll be better off.
one is 16gb vram and the other is 8gb the first one being 8gb (you want over 8 because of the rising vram issues with newer games, im also thinking of doing a 3070 vram mod to my 3070 ti)

Guestmiations: Case $50, PSU like $80, DDR4 $40, MB maybe $70, CPU around $180 or lower, 4060ti around $450 maybe, 2TB SSD like $160… total $1,030… Best Buy is trying to make around $100-$150 bucks off of you in profit.
All you are really paying for is a bit more vram, which begs the question: if you want to keep this PC for a decent amount of time 2-3+ years, more vram would be worth it with how the new games love to chew through it, but if you only are keeping it for 1-2 years, the 8gb of vram would be the better option because 8gb will be at least passable for all new games for at least a year

Yeah its over priced and as an employee of BestBuy please dont do this to yourself. I see alot of these pre builts come back to Geeksquad. Find another avenue or figure out how to get one built with the parts you chose…
When i get customers that are 50/50 on prebuilt or custom i try to tell them to go custom route or somewhere else. If they happily buy one im not gonna say anything..

Speaking from experience, CyberPowerPC cheap out on power supply units. I had some $10 Chinese brand that caused my PC to emergency shutdown on games… If you get one of their systems, that needs to be replaced ASAP.
Severely overpriced trust me, I can get a pc with a 3080 for like 1.1k usd any day so these are pretty bad

Microcenter will build it for you if you close to one. Much better prices. Better components shoot for 7800x3d 4070 or 7900 GRE GPU and 32 GB Ram
