This isn’t proof of anything, they could have known he was there or that a player could be there and hackatory was just pinging the tree. His team mate possibly could seen him and hakatory was pinging the tree to clarify which tree he should be looking at, or vice versa.
Hackatory is publicly acused of cheating so his gameplay is going to be under the microscope just like how fuzz is reviewing this looking for any evidence that hes cheating. If you spectate anyone long enough I’m sure you’ll eventually see them ADS on somebody without line of sight by pure coincidence.
Iroh was also accused of cheating back in the day, so was RichyB and both of them turned out to be legit and performed on LAN.
I’m not saying this *isn’t* xray, and hackatory is innocent, but this is not proof imo.

No way he would use a cheat that locks onto people that are not in sight.

Unfortunately trees render at certain distances differently which causes if you look sideways to be able to see people behind it. Such as this https://clips.twitch.tv/BoringSpikyLampRedCoat
It has been this way since the dawn of pubg unfortunately nothing has changed, so you can just abuse scan every tree basically.
