Everyone should stop hopping on bandwagons. Though I must say that 2.0 changed a lot for the bad, I preferred the old weapon/armor modding systems and Cyberware than this new one. But it’s still a great game.

I’d say by the time 1.6 released, people hating on CyberPeak were still stuck in the past.

I read the criticism, and decided to wait. I always had the intention to play it, bought it on sale and put on my to play list.
By the time I played it – some weeks ago – it was already on 2.11 patch. Loved the game and will definitely play again with another builds soon

I’m so glad I stopped paying attention to internet hate on every new release. Right now hating on Starfield seems to be the “in” thing, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recognize it has plenty of issues, but I put a solid 140hrs into it. It was just the right kinda game I needed at the time and it’s probably the only game I’ve “finished” in recent years.

I played through the bugs at launch and loved it.
Years later, it’s one of the best games in the last decade imo.

I played from launch day and I was one of the few who had an incredible play through. No major bugs, and little to no minor bugs. This is my favorite game ever.

Never wanted to play it because I thought it was a piece of unoptimized crap. I just started playing it because I watched Edgerunners.
Now it’s my favorite game of my entire life….

What happened because of the premature release was such a shame. Cuz truly this is for sure one of the best games of the decade but it probably never will be recognized as such because of the bad press and comments it first received

me too! i played since launch, and I wasn’t even hyped as my friend was, he got disapointed cause was hoping for a big thing, me i just want to have fun. Never hype for something guys, it’s like relationship.
I’m with 228.2 hours, currently 20% of my second playthrouug to get phantom liberty.

Yeah I mean it shipped broken, and was broken for over a year, and recently became optimized enough to play despite dozens of things missing, and each new patch breaks something…
But “the internet is wrong”

I didn’t play it until August last year, which unknown to me at the time ended up being the exact date of Johnny’s death and the bombing of ‘Saka Tower. Talk about weird coincidences.
I’m so glad I waited and got to play it before and after 2.0 and Phantom Liberty. Easily one of the best games I’ve ever played, and certainly THE best of the last decade. Nothing else comes close.

I had played this at launch. I like it, and now I love it.

Happiest I’ve been while playing a game since bo2 or ac3. Truly, an amazing game.
