I left my PC to download Battlefield V overnight (estimated to take 10-12 hours) so I could play it in the morning. But shitty EA app crashed on its own after 2-3 hours, causing the download to fail.

Happened to me as well but with BF4.
This is literally the worst launcher in existence.

Jokes aside: I’m a big FPS/Battlefield fan and I honestly don’t think you’re missing much. BF1 is still pretty active, and there’s a reason, it’s goddamn phenomenal.
Send them a recipe with the energy your pc consumed over night.
12h to download the game ? Can you play an online FPS with that internet speed ?
Stop buying EA products.
There are better Battlefield-like games on the market that are not only better games, but are cheaper and have a smaller file size.
