I was in the 6th grade when WaW came out, and I remember just how much of a grip zombies had on my friends and I. It was violent, it had a creepy ambiance (round start chime and the bloody round ticks), and it was FUN.
Rather than talking about KDs in MP, for WaW we wouldn’t shut up about our highest round.
I miss when CoD was this fresh. MW OG and the next 4-5 entries all felt like vertical clear improvements. I don’t know what happened after that.
