
Do you reckon it’s a feasible combination in a small case?
Here is what I think:
– [Here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UahGX4YrTiE) someone uses “black” version of the same cooler and achieves 90c max when cooling down 12600K that generates on average ~128w during Cinebench run.
– According to [this](https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-9-7900x3d-cpu-review/2) review, 7900X3D generates ~115w on average when rendering heavy scene in Blender/Cycles. This is roughly comparable to Cinebench.
– Logically, 7900X3D should stay under 90c with the full-copper version of the AXP90-X53.
Am I on the right track or do I miss something?

Also no, you’ll have to run it on Eco mode
Now this one should be able to keep it running without thermal throttle without the need for Eco mode, but you’ll have to check the dimensions to see if it fits.

Just set the thermal limit to 80c and it’ll never go over that. Cooler will be fine as long as you’re fine as it not performing in multi threaded tasks as good as an AIO.
