If you see Helldivers 2 currently on sale on Steam, it’s a scam. Some devs have changed the store pages for their games to look like the Helldivers 2 store page.
That’s sneaky! Good thing I always double-check before purchasing from Steam. Some people will do anything to make a quick buck, smh. Thanks for the heads up!

Reminds me when Killer Instinct came out and the arcade had a handmade sign on top that said Mortal Kombat 3.

It’s also happening with Last Epoch.

This one, “Do Not Smile”, has now been pulled from the Steam store.

you can all blame that game that claimed to be “the day before” by changing everything on its steam page

Considering that Steam has a 2-hour no-questions-asked return policy, I don’t understand how the shady devs of these games thought it would work out in their favor. They’re basically asking to be heavily review-bombed.
Update: I suppose I hadn’t considered the folks who buy now and play later, because that’s not how I do things. I guess that works out in my best interest, in this case. Be careful, people!

What is their game plan? I’m guessing that over 90% of people are going to refund, and their reputation will be terrible after this. Are they just done making games and want to make a little money off the people who don’t refund?

If they give me the game without their strange unkown anti cheat root kit iam all in.
