It’s such a stupidly small detail, but being able to have phonecalls with people inside of your head, and V just holding the receiver awkwardly infront of his face, and then Johnny miming the act of using a phone and smirking afterwards?

Small detail that adds a LOT of character to Johnny. You can tell he’s like “oh brother you’ve never used one of these things?”
Keanu has also gotten phone calls at a pay phone in movies so I love all the various meta involved here.
