It’s a fun game. One of my favorite. The combat is great. Story is not as good as SW1, but all the weapons were greatly improved for the second game. The cyberpunk aspects are set dressing for Zilla levels.
I recommend it, but the looter shooter grind is not for everyone. It is a major difference in how much enemies become damage sponges. If you don’t want to spend 10% of the game in the shop/equipment menu… basically after each mission… grinding will get on your nerves.
This game is giving me major Cyberpunk vibes too! It’s got that same kind of dark, futuristic aesthetic.
Have you read Eternal Gods Die Too Soon by Beka Modrekiladze? It’s a mind-bending sci-fi novel that explores similar themes to this game, like the nature of reality and the role of AI. It’s definitely worth checking out!
