What seasoning and spices do you recommend to offset the taste of metal in the b̶i̶n̶ ̶j̶u̶i̶c̶e̶ broth after you’re done.
As long as he immediately removes excess moisture and air dries it with a decent speed fan for a good length of time there won’t likely be any issues. If I were to use that method I would disassemble the components for drying and lay them out under a high velocity fan. I have done similar on non PC electronics with no issue.
Side note I’d be nice if computer hardware was submersible someday so we can skip all the duster and hand wiping.
It’s not that bad, as long as you re-lube the bearings after making sure it’s completely dry you should be fine. This is how extreme over clockers get Vaseline off of their motherboard.
Be sure to let people know that this really helps with overclocking.

The best way to dry it is to bury it in dirt.
I get that it won’t be a problem electrically cause distilled water, isopropyl etc but won’t the terminal paste be like… Dissolved or something?
Couldn’t you technically do this (besides PSU) as long as you keep everything unpowered and leave it until it is completely dry?
