I’m more disappointed that Arkham Knight is doing almost 3 times the numbers of vastly better Arkham games (which is to say, all of them).

Well what to expect? The whole game idea is already moronic.

Rocksteady really dishonored amazing Arkham series with Suicide Squad
theblackfool
Not that it’s much better at all but there’s actually like 500 people playing Suicide Squad. The 65 players is probably from right after they did server maintenance to try and fix all the issues people are having with the game.

I am very happy for the industry.

Has there ever been a game that tanked this badly?

Hilarious. Watching that overmonetized self proclaimed AAAA-game fail just feels too fucking good.

Yeah, I really love all these nerd boys raging about a dev trying something new they haven’t done. I can’t wait for every studio to just make the same games over and over so you cucks can be happy. Wouldn’t want to risk upsetting you fucking nerds.

Is anyone really surprised?

That moment when Payday 3’s got bigger playerbase 😎👊

This actually reminded me I own the Arkham trilogy and should redownload it

I’m kind of surprised the all-time peak is over twice what Arkham Asylum had… Kind of implies twice as many copies were sold at launch, when the players would be highest? I guess developers don’t really care if the game is good or has player retention as long as they have your money.
I do think that’s kind of a funny metric, like people are mad at Starfield for having a vastly reduced player count, but like… why would Bethesda care? They got your money. Playing for a longer period of time doesn’t generate any additional revenue. If you quit early, that’s one less person they need to be making patches for, basically demanding free work to bug fix after they already sold the product.

But the userbase says its great and we are wrong!

Seems unfair to do this on a maintenance day…
These are Steam numbers I’m assuming?

Is is really *that* bad?

A lot of us are sitting it out until server issues get fixed.

This is a great game. I may get a PC soon and if I do this will be one of the first I install. First 10 at least. It’s really fun 🤩
Denebola2727
Okay? It’s weird when people gloat about a game doing poorly.

What do u expect of a game where Devs write a story to kill your favourite characters 💀🥂
Affectionate_Gas_264
“even by single player standards” is oddly insulting
It’s far harder to make a good single player game than a lazy PvP battle Royale. That’s why most Devs don’t even try
In saying that yeah this game appears to be a stinker
bezyll
It’s hardly a single player game OP…

AAA gaming dying and letting the ecosystem reset is what the industry needs. The publishers will kick and scream, let them. The younguns need to experience the creativity and amazingness that is gaming driven by passion, not share price and unrealistic deadlines.
