Yeah aim assist be crazy, it’s unfair. You should of won that, in fact without such strong aim assist I suspect the controller player would of hit zero bullets, instead he hit every single one.

Go prone is my answer. I swap to controller sometimes and that’s where AA is not helping me and I lose my close fights. Tap prone while stepping back is the quickest I think. Or run, get out and find better angle, where ever you go or stand always find the spot with a way out.

I’ve tried this strat recently from Metaphor: if you know you’re about to fight close in buildings/rooms, just smoke the room. They lose RAA and it’s like watching someone have a seizure. It’s human v human that way, so the person with actual tracking practice will win. Works like a charm.

Here a few personal recommendations:
– Try not to bunny hop, the only one that benefits from is the one with aim assist. You will only get punished with a worse bullet spread and not hitting your target. It might be useful against other MnK players but you don’t know that when engaging the fight.
– use slide with tac stance. Slide can be quite fast, faster than the reaction time of the other player.
– use your grenades before engaging, smoke stun etc.
– use the throwing knife. I have won so many duells with it.
– complain more often about aim assist, it might help that devs will reduce it in the future because it’s just hella unfair
– and if nothing helps use cheats to even the playing field. No just kidding 🤣 cheats are for dickless losers.

At that range typical mnk players will be like : do 720 spin and break their wrist before figuring out where the enemy is and spend their last 10 bullets on them instead of the wall.
