This was happening to me when I upgraded to Windows 11.
It wasn’t a clean install, so everything was glitching out, and had some kind of memory leak.
Microsoft support pointed me to a specific install file, wiped everything, and works fine now.

What was the point of those old programs to “download more RAM”? Was it a virus, or did the programs actually do anything? I’m not even sure I would understand anything Google says.
