The Division I’s New York City had the most realistic weather. The game had the first real-time dynamic weather system, which was a big selling point of the game. Sunshine, rain, and snow. Dark and gritty. I loved the experience. The immersion is amazing. Unfortunately, The Division II’s Washington, D.C. could not replicate it.

Turning the power back on in Times Square is a seriously slept on moment in modern gaming.

Even better in the original trailers

What about Atlanta in……Make a game in Atlanta already!

One of my favorite games. What I loved about it the most is that as a native new yorker I rarely had to open the map when trying to get places

Which one is better? The first or the second? I own the first one and I’ve played it but I’ve been considering getting back into it. At the same time I could purchase The Division 2 but I’m wondering how it’s been received by players of both?
Agnostic_Akuma
Ubisoft would be wise to make another division game set in the same city but you’re a first wave agent and all the choices you’d make to go rogue or stay true to the cause.
OG division is my most played game with over 4000 hours. It was awesome fun , something that division 2 just never had with its gameplay never really feeling like a division agent

Solitude or Riverwood.
For what it is they are beautiful and with overhaul mods they are the best things I have ever seen.

NYC in Crysis 2. The city shows obvious signs of attempted containment that broke down.

I wish the gameplay wasnt a looter shooter and had gone for the more grounded reality it sold us. The movement and map where so damn special in feeling.

Only played the division 2 but there’s nothing interesting in the maps, so I guess this is valid you’re only talking about it visually/ aesthetically.
I really enjoy Spider-man 2’s map because it looks great and is a ton of fun to traverse.

The survival mode is top tier. Highly recommend

My only beef w the division’s NY was that the whole map was flat.
NYC was better than DC in the division. The map was more interesting
