no 14900k, 7950x3d, or 7800x3d? Doge is sad.

  2. Well, its better than opposite…

Is driving an sports car on square wheels better than driving square with sports car wheels?

funny how the inverse is also a common thing

  4. I upgrade every 4-5 years and always go mid range with 1080p 144hz in mind. After a certain point spending an extra $100 on a card that only gives me 20 fps more doesnt seem worth it. That also leaves extra budget for extras like a BenQ 144hz monitor.

I just find it funny when people rock those 150$ + 100$ keyboard/mouse combos just to get steamrolled by some russian kid playing with their 20 headset+kb+mouse combo.

Dollar sign goes before the number goofball

Is this coming from a standpoint of one of those mechanical kb sommeliers, drooling at the sound of a keystroke?

my peripherals cost (much) more than my PC

  9. That’s wild. Maybe they will upgrade the rest soon

I see more of the opposite tbh, mfs running a 1650 super build with a 200$ keyboard or smth

God I upgraded my monitor and keyboard this weekend and it feel like I got a new PC with the same frame rates.

If I could go back in time and unbuy every “gamer” branded keyboard i’ve bought in the past I would. r/MechanicalKeyboards

    to be fair,

not having the latest and greatest isn’t bad. You just have to adjust your games settings accordingly. If you can’t afford a high end pc you can’t afford it. Not the end of the world

    I’m using a 20 years old keyboard.
No modern fancy keyboard from friends lasted longer than maybe two years.
Worn out keycaps all over the place.

God I hate when people use “battlestation” to describe their gaming PC. It’s a fucking computer my dude.

I’ve finally almost finished upgrading my PC after years but for a long time my perifials were way better then what I had in my PC I would rather be able to get kills in a game then have nice shiny graphics.

No. $20 for peripherals, $6 for 1200W Oogabooga PSU

My CPU is mid, my GPU is mid-high, my monitor is 1440p, as long as everything else works, fk it

  18. BuckieJr

My keyboard is about as customized and unique as my pc. Mouse.. not so much lol

  19. Jumper775-2

Mine is actually well rounded. Not sure if it’s considered high end though.

  20. Monitor, keyboard and mouse is very important for me, i would prefer a weaker pc than weaker monitor.
