Did a hard reset to BIOS and did a static manual voltage of 1.35v with LLC 1 to get it stable (think I lost the silicon lottery a tad lol cause at stock it just wasn’t stable at all) with CO all cores -18 so max load it stay 1.290v-1.320v. PBO boost override is 200, the validation doesn’t show it will hit 4.8ghz. PSU is an EVGA G3 Supernova 750w. You can see all my other parts installed such as my RAM etc etc.
Cooling is certainly an issue atm as I have AMD’s Prism cooler which was fine when I had my 3700x installed. I have a DeepCool GAMMAXX AG500 which is rated for 240 tdp arriving tomorrow in the mail and some Arctic Mx-6 thermal I’m gonna be using. I run open case full tower so always fresh cool air on vrms and etc.
I’m open to any suggestions. Especially ppt/tdc/edc to get the results I have I had to set all that to ppt-395/tdc-160/edc-190. I have a feeling like I could just do a little better in the voltage/thermal department maybe. Preferable would like my vcore to drop when not using heavily, but atm static voltage has been the only stabilizer.
I have run full Aida64 stress test for 30min (temp maxed at 87c with the Prism cooler, actually surprised) and it didn’t crash. Tested in games after, same thing except 70c-ish.

PBO, CO, PPT/TDC/EDC, temperature target etc are for Precision Boost which runs with auto voltage/frequency and is meant to be used with auto LLC.
Manual voltage disables that stuff so it’s mutually exclusive and also not generally recommended.
