The PS5 doesn’t have a Hard Disk Drive. It has a Solid State Drive.

You can upgrade the storage for pretty cheap and it is easy as it’s not proprietary.

New PS5 slim has more space

How are people using 600+ GB on games? The only game I can think of that uses anything remotely close to that is COD because their dumb asses put like 5 different games in one and locked them behind paywalls but still has you install the files for them. Like I know you’d play more than one game but still 600+ GB?! I’ve had like 9 different games installed at once and 3 or 4 of them were 80-100 GB. If I don’t play the game anymore I just delete it. Sorry I know this is a meme but I find this hilarious.

If you have ps4 games you can put them on an external hard drive and launch them from there, and use the console storage for ps5 games. I used an internal laptop drive (upgraded the laptop to an ssd), got a cheap enclosure, and the Playstation just had to format the drive.

It always cracks me up seeing people talk about how phenomenal the PS5 SSD is. Like welcome to years and years ago bro. Also people worried that Ratchet and Clank port wouldn’t run efficiently on PC because it didn’t have the PS5 SSD lol

I have about 50 games installed and plenty of room for more!

I find it enough because usually I only play one maybe two games at a time.
