So I have a pretty dusty apartment. The dust issue is partly due to some construction that was done last year and it was already dusty before that. A film of dust can form on surfaces weekly. I keep expecting to find my pc in such a dirty state as the computers I see on here. Yet even after a year and a half my current PC is not very dusty at all. Basically I’m shocked how some PCs can get so dusty and dirty. Perhaps in 5 years my PC might look like that… crazy

It’s probably a 12 year old pc and even if spit shined to perfection will run slower than a phone made in the last few years.
Probably time to retire old bessy and get a new one

Had a customer with the most literally caked up system I’d ever seen. “Literally” because it was a pc located in a bakery mass production area.
Ended up just sticking it inside of a terminal (box on wheels) and putting a touch screen monitor connected to it (also in a shroud).
