As an adult who works 9-5 job for 5 days a week, this is painful lol…. no time. Imagine playing being 14 years old during this age of gaming….

Upside is you can buy the ones you don’t have time for in 6 months to a year at a discount with all the patches

Hope Black Myth Wukong won’t disappoint. As someone who rarely has time to play, I will make time for this.

  3. As an adult who works 6-14 for 5 days a week, i still have plenty of time to play after work and on the weekends.

  4. GoldenDonut01

I feel lucky to still have a lot of free time lol. On a 1 week break from school and I already dumped 50 hours into my second elden ring playthrough. Onto Armored Core 6!

  5. Superb-Meeting-8349

It’s so sad all 3 of these are just absolutely amazing

  6. Kopie150

So you can only afford 1 of those 6 months after release on sale?

  7. alexanderluko

I really hope Wukong can live up to the hype like Lies of P did – it does look very intriguing so far.

As an adult that works from 8 to 8, what games?

  9. FknBretto

Probably the same as being 14 at any other point in gaming

  10. If you’re 14 years old who are you gonna convince to buy all these games and at current prices lol

  11. Bulls187

At least we can buy them all and not play them, while those kids cant afford them and watch streamers play them 😆😆

  12. The_Shit_Connoisseur

If I was 14 I wouldn’t be able to play Elden ring because it’s rated 16 in my country

  13. denialerror

How do you have no time to play? I work the same hours, have two kids that need putting to bed, do all the cooking, and I still have plenty of free time.

  14. joeyretrotv

Not with that attitude, bucko! Allocate only 2 hrs of sleep daily and drink Monster and Red Bull until your heart explodes!

  15. One step at a time is the way to go. 2 hours a day for 2 month will let you beat an 100 hour long game. Than start the next one. This is the way. And in your 60s you will have time to play like in your teens. Retirement will be awesome.

Also an adult with 9-5 job 5 days a week, still have plenty of free time to enjoy games. Not as much as student life, but at least i got the money to buy all games or consoles i want now.

    What’s Black Myth Wukong?

I still haven’t dove into Elden Ring and I bought it at launch hahaha

Never finished Dragon’s Dogma but I played it a bunch

  18. Rin_Seven

Majora’s Mask, Perfect Dark, Pokémon Stadium, Banjo-Tooie…
My gaming era had some bangers too when I was 14.

  19. Faelysis

I have more free time since I’m an adult that when I was 14… It’s all about how you manage your own time and life responsibility. I don’t have kids but I know plenty of +35 yo with kids that game more than me and are still doing a great job as parent while having a full normal life…

  20. Anubra_Khan

When the kids are grown and moved out, you’ll have more time (and money) to play games than you ever did at 14.

  21. Stonedcock2

15 years old here, i’m so fucking happy. I will play for the old dudes and the new

  22. Analytically_Damaged

Imagine being 14 years old during this age of gaming and being stuck with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown being your intro to the franchise despite all the potential that Sands of Time offered 🤷‍♂️

  23. With 14 I only was allowed to play 30-60 min a day. I have more time now with a 7.30-17 job, but I don’t have kids and a lot of friends.

In India , your life if better in a job
When you are in your old teen years (15 – 18) Your life is fucked up by JEE and NEET

You have to get 100+ Hour study Weeks for minimum of 2 years to get into a good college (iit, nit, bits etc.)

and let’s not talk about college

+ In most 3rd world countries , consoles are not poular and neither are good pc’s
So people like me cant really play games even though they can afford too due to gaming being looked down upon
especially because of Mobile gamers and their addiction (FreeFire and PUBG)

I know your pain. I used to work 8 to 5 six days a week. I chose gaming over that job.

The key is to embrace the change to portable gaming.

After I got married I converted to Switch gaming and now back to PC gaming via the Steam Deck.

There is always time. And no need to give in to FOMO. I’ll probably play these modern games 3 to 5 years from now when the Steam Deck 2 or Switch 2 gets them.

Either that or play them on low / medium settings when verified on Steam Deck.

Iim 41M, work 6am-4pm weekdays and have a 5yr old who does swimming and dancing on top of school and here are my two cents:

    – I thought wukong was shit? I didn’t grab it cuz of reviews.

    – I’m not excited for Elden ring until the seamless co-op gets sorted

    -i can’t wait for dragons dogma 2.

    – also helldivers 2 is awesome.

I don’t get much sleep, but you gotta make the time I guess

Thankfully I am not that interested in any of them.

But I get what you are saying, had same problem last year.
