Something with your system is seriously wrong. 5950x + 3090 still beats 90-95% of scores on timespy

Do you have 4 GB RAM, or what?!
croissantguy07
link your result, im actually impressed how bad this is if it’s stock settings lol
hardlyreadit
Nothing like 3D mark to let you know you have a problem somewhere, somehow, with something lol
Delicious-Sample-364
Spent just under 2k on mine and it read as gaming pc just above a gaming laptop

Did you forget to enable the performance mode in Windows ?
Drivers ?
No issues with games in general ?
Maximum_Sky_5999
You need a full fresh reset. Start from scratch

At this performance differential, I suspect your GPU may be heavily throttled for some reason. Run a power virus like FurMark and check your GPU temperatures, power states, power delivery, etc. while it’s running.

Maybe you’re capping your frame rate to the monitor refresh globally in nVidia settings? I run that way for g-sync but it hurts benchmarks…
handsomeness
Something is wrong here OP, I beat this with a 3080 and 5700x
SnooChocolates5288
This is mine, and i should have maybe 1 or 2 gen lower pc specs than yours.

Check your settings maybe?
Sudden_Tomatillo_974
How many watts is your power supply? Maybe do a userbenchmark.
I bet you capped your frame rate somehow because this score doesn’t make sense
UnderLook150
Did you bench with vsync on?
machinationstudio
Only the sweaty guys benchmark, so the days is skewed towards the best gear?
zfreakazoidz
Is that a new version of 3DMark? Don’t recognize Solar Bay.
AntiLeftist0113
Damn! With a 5950 and 3090. That’s almost exactly what I run (3080ti) and all that shit definitely wasn’t cheap. Granted I’ve had it for several years now.

HOW?!?! That was top of the line not long ago

I just did the test

That’s not right, do you have g-sync enabled, or a capped frame rate? I saw your GPU temp was hitting 77, crank the fans when benchmarking.
Gotta jack up the memory speed
I had 68444 points with a 3600 and 2080ti. I’d try ddu and fresh gpudriver install if I was you.
So what does this mean for a guy like me with a 3060 12gb and ryzen 3 3700x
[Here’s mine with nearly identical hardware (Same model CPU+GPU+32GB Ram)](https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/107777318?)
Something is definitely wrong with your settings/drivers/hardware. Now you have to find out what.
Just making sure, you don’t have a ~175hz monitor and left on G-Sync by chance right?
Can’t be right. Something going on with your system.
I just ran Solar Bay twice with a I9-10850 and a 3080.
First time with MSI capping the FPS to 120 – Score = 31,560
Second time with unlimited frame rate and 100% Fans speed – Score = 84,599
