It was a cool fight. On my 2nd playthrough, Oda remained in that weird invisible state the whole time. The only way I was able to fight him was that the candles near him would change color, so I’d toss grenades, and he’d reappear for a few seconds.

I enjoy not killing him so that he shows up during the Devil ending.
I imagine it annoys him to no end to see V strolling up after having beat him.

Was a fun one, for sure. I tried to take him down with firearms as that’s my go-to, but when that didn’t work, I decided I’d beat him at his own game. Whipped out a katana and used the occasional emp grenade + very basic quickhacks and got the job done. Spared him, too. So that he’d know even with all his upgrades, my hardly chromed out V still got the better of him.

this was my favorite fight. my first official playthrough was recently, and I went with a sword build. fighting this guy was like 2 samurai just going at it. it was incredible. I say “first official” because I played for about 3 hours when the game first came out and couldn’t bring myself to turn it back on.

I managed to take him out non-lethally. He then got stuck in the air, which meant I couldn’t get his weapon. 🙁

I love this fight, especially because I am addicted to fast paced close combat builds, so the fight always amounts to me chasing him down with either satori or a double barreled shotgun while in some combination of Sandi and kerenzikov

I loved the fight but unfortunately he bugged out for me at the very end and just got stuck midair in a stumble animation. That happened to several of the bosses for me but fortunately not Adam smasher. I got the game when it first came out but didn’t finish it so I fought smasher in all his glory
