Unfortunately, people vote with their wallets, not their reddit comments and YouTube videos. “Too expensive”, “bad value”, and yet people keep buying them like hot cakes.

I said this a few months ago and got shot down.
Oh well I bought enough stock over a year ago and the gains alone could afford a few 4090’s now. I actually think they’ll keep on tapering backin the consumer market because there’s litterally double the money to be made in enterprise and they need the allocation.

Nvidia somehow grew gaming rev 58% y/y while AMD lost 17%.

Getting tired of all the companies going 400% since 2020 we launched ourselves like 10 years into the future and wages are not where they need to be

Wait a second!! You mean to tell me that a business is trying to maximize their profits?!?!?! That the consumer market is NOT the most important market to multi-billion dollar mega corporations?!!

As an investor, thank you NVDA

True.
Sorry to break it to some, you do not become trillion in value corporation by selling GPUs to gamers. Or selling GPUs – as for 2020.
TL;DR for gaming – nVidia does not care. Because you (a) still gonna buy nVidia cards, because they (b) have better feature set for most gamers at (c) premium prices.
For AMD guys – yes, RX is a better Gaming value. But not in overall features – no.
To put it in the perspective: there are more 3060s sold than entire RX 6xxx lineup.

Revenue =/= Profit. NVIDIA has grown in turnover due to hype around AI and tech companies investing in cloud computing capacity. Profit will grow, naturally, but please use profit margins on consumer graphics cards to make your point.

Somehow I read that as revenge surge
Guys, what is Nvidia getting revenge for?

Good, the 5090 already paid itself

Nvidia is going crazy cause of the future of AI. they will make more money selling to business than they will to gamers.

Dude as someone who works in cloud computing, gamers are small potato’s to Nvidia at this point.

People who need the ai power are gonna spend the extra regardless. And the gaming market still sells because for some reason I can’t comprehend people are willing to spend upwards of $300 more for better RT and better upscaling.
If Nvidia just priced it the same as AMD they would very likely sell even more, and the price of GPUs would fall as AMD tries to undercut to gain market share. It’s a win win

So at this point they are making so much money that Jensen could easily turn into an eternal god for gamers by selling 4070s for $350 just out of curtesy. Because at the end of the day nvidia crawled up on the back of gamers in the last 2 decades so it could become the AI chip giant today. Just a thought for you Jensen. We know you can do it pal!

Great, now that theyre making all this money off AI means they can lower costs of their RTX cards right?
Right??

If they didn’t, we wouldn’t have the super series. They do care a little. They don’t want that segment to get swallowed up.

I bet half of that is just geforce now subs

Actually thay care about how their GPU for gamers perform. Good and stable drivers, new future, collaboration with gamedev studios. They (nVidia) just don’t must be cheaper than AMD
xMoody
They consistently produce the best GPUs and everyone knows this, so it makes sense why their revenue goes up.

Nvidia is riding the AI hype.
And it is a hype. All AI is right now is a chatbox Google, but people are investing in the hopes AI become what we see in the movies. From what I understand, what we see in the movies is far away.
While I think Nvidia is overvalued right now, I think it was undervalued before the hype.

Back in 2001 when I had some money to invest so I bought $1500 worth of Nvidia because I liked their graphics cards and thought they had a future. Today that investment is worth $380,000 and it’s going to go much higher from here. I’m quite happy with my Nvidia stock. That said, when it comes time to replace my 3080, I’m going to buy an AMD gpu.

NVIDIA has over 80% of the gaming market
I bet they care more than the 2 fighting over what’s left.
