I have very fond memories of Juno. They had a free email client that you could use, and I realized that if you opened Netscape Navigator after you connected to it, you had internet. I was about 13-14 years old, and had unfettered access to the internet, and my mom didnt even know we had the internet. I remember opening it once everyone went to bed, starting up Napster and putting a bunch of songs downloading. Id wake up early to turn it off, and I would have a WHOLE ALBUM downloaded. Man those were the days.

Its nice to use a native web browser, but on older hardware/OS’s I just cheat and use remote software like VNC and browse with the power of a modern computer, but I have to admit, old IE is quick and responsive browsing sites like Google loading pages instantly!
I have my homepage on a XP rig set to a weather search on Google, I press the web key on my keyboard and its on screen before I let go of the button.

Never used Juno. I was an EarthLink fanboy with like 7 local numbers to make sure I got that best ping to Tribes. 🙂
I did once in a while use NetZero with the tweaked versions that would block their bar. But only when it was dialup or Ramen broke LOL
