It was after songbird told me to “Sneak” into the garage and avoid guards. I was like which guards? Wait I didnt need to kill all those dudes?
It’s far more satisfying to do it your way, imho. All that loot, all that XP… c’mon, now… this ain’t no theme park, kids… we’re here for the hurt locker or bust, so why go bust?
It kind of ticks me off because that is a lot of loot that disappears once you are in dogtown.
I didnt even get that choice. Been playin CP since day 1 and I been playing a ton lately so after the last update dropped(think a few weeks ago now?) for PL I went ahead and finally started it. So Im cruisin to start the first mission and I didnt even get a chance to get out the car bcuz as soon I pulled up I was put into instant combat and there was a shitload of dudes at the gate. Caught me off guard like wtf?! and they was comin for me hardcore…took me like 20 mins to get through bcuz I was quickhacking all the cars in the back, turrets in the back and the snipers up top…

Hahahaha, yeah i did that too. Until i noticed no matter what i did afterwards was hated on, so went to YouTube to find the right entrance (going through the trash dumpster) reloaded to a point before i did that. It was hella fun mowing down all those Barghest trash though!! 😆😅🤣
I did it all by stealth last time, just to see if it could be done.

Ah yes. this is where I…a squishy level 20 something with Tier1 weapons and equipment ended up lightly tapping a barrier with my car, alerting the guards… whilst thinking there was far less of them than there actually were, and getting absolutely slaughtered.
Things will be different this next play through.

I didn’t get a choice lol. There were hostile Animals out front that started attacking me and then the dogtown guards joined in on their side. Next thing I know I’m killing dozens of very high level enemies
I got the game this past Christmas and was minding my own business and started killing guards not realizing this was the entrance to Dogtown lol. It was very satisfying especially with me being low level at the time. I had to run away many times. Good thing those mechs don’t Regen.

My first time was similar, except I happened to be in a vehicle with machine guns when I rolled by. It was basically a No Russian moment. Complete slaughter

I wish the game was more aware and made a big deal out of it if you go this route. Like “Hey citizens of Dog Town, a Cyberpsycho just wiped out our small army on his way through the gates. So yea, kiss your asses good bye folks…”
I thought the same thing but was too scared to take on that many 😭 I forget exactly how I figured out I could in fact just walk through but I was so glad when I did bc I was real close to looking up how to find the entrance we went through the first time and using that the rest of my playthrough
