The jumping you did is a known bug that will usually end with a similar result. The other guy didn’t move after lift off and exfilled.

This has happened to my buddy and I. The chopper had already left but glitched for us. Luckily I noticed & was like “Jump out NOW! We missed the right chopper!” We were able to get out in time.
