I think about this series pretty often. I don’t remember a damn thing about the games, but I always wish I did.
Mattyphantoms
Funny how we get 100 copies of The Last of Us but can’t get these classics
Based_On_Cringe
But not for 70 bucks per game. I think it should be budget and simple, like what happened to The Last of Us 1 from PS3 to PS4.
And release them on PC at the same time as PS5, with crossplay. To maximize profit and to fund next installment development.
Maybe some long or short time support for Multiplayer, idk

I liked the first one , I loved the narrative, almost told like a history story , but after the first it just turned into a generic shooter and I lost interest more and more . Not a bad series but 2 and 3 came no where near the first for me, wouldn’t mind seeing what they could do restarting it .
Warhunterkiller
I still remember the first trailer for this when it was named I-8.
Ongaya123
One of my series of all time. I remember when it came out as a launch title alongside the PS3’s release in 2006. Good times. Too bad popularity completely died out after Resistance 2.
Neutreality1
I used to love the jet fuel grenades. I spawn killed my friend from the literal opposite side of the map, it was glorious
Big-Annual7705
I played 2 and 3. I think a full remake would be good.
Salsa_de_Pina
Only if it includes couch co-op for campaign (not that shitty co-op from the second one.)
SephLuis
I loved those games and we’re still waiting for a conclusion after 3
Too bad Insomniac is busy with Marvel for the decade
Blyght555
Hot take, Resistance 2 was one of my all time fav games from ps3
Serious_Hunt7681
This and the Mercenary series. Shut up and take my money!
HugeAnalBeads
Number 2 multiplayer was incredible
30 vs 30. I loved it and I really dont like FPS multiplayer games

redishherring
I bought a PlayStation for these games and I’d fkn do it again
Joe_tat
That would be a good one to bring back similar to the Drake collection. I wouldn’t mind a remake either. The MP on R2 was ok. The co-op PvE was unique for the time too.
AlwaysTheKop
This trilogy and a Killzone Trilogy remaster and I’d be a very happy boy.
Equally_Unmatched
This needs remastered…in a way. Include the campaign with co-op of R1, R2 and R3. Include the multiplayer of R1, as well add the 6 person co-op mode of R2. No need for multiplayer of R2 and R3. All solid campaigns, R1 had such great multiplayer, R2s co-op was solid,, R3 had the best campaign.
ArchBeOS
Or a new game in this universe instead of rehashing yet another remaster, maybe?
Usual-Yellow9261
Agreed! Great game & its sequel! I’m settling for number 3 😒
RosieGinnee
Played the first one when it came out when I was like 8. Fucking mind blowing at the time.
Balbuto
I’d settle for just a new game in this series
SendMeFatErgos
Resistance 2 coop and pvp was so fun. The campaign too…
Pandillion
The multiplayer on this series (2nd game) was really underrated. I loved the gun design.
wewfarmer
I loved this game when I was a teenager. It had a cool premise and insomniac was always reliable for making cool weapons.
The multiplayer was cool too, you had these wild 64v64 death matches that were super chaotic. I also have fond memory of being on the phone with PlayStation support, who had to walk me through how to port forward so I could play online. The 2000s were a wild time.
mane_mane69
I agree
AgentSmith2518
This trilogy and the Killzone trilogy desperately need remakes, or at least remasters.
Slywilsonboi
Nathan Hale was probably my favorite protagonist as a kid and he doesnt even speak until the last cutscene of the 2nd game. (I’m pretty sure)
Something about the aesthetic was just something gorgeous at the time
Dud3m4n_15
Resistance 2 multiplayers on PC is my fuckin dream
NullPounce
This is one the game I thought may have aged well and I remembered how “awesome” it was. RPCS3 1080P My god this game looks sooo bad.
ksasslooot
Nostalgia is subjective.
masterventris
I remember shooting 3 bullets into a glass window in this game, and the triangle of glass fell out separately, leaving the rest of the window in place.
It blew my 15yo mind how much of an upgrade over PS2 games this was.
Surfacing555666
Truly miss these games, they were way ahead of their time and a modern take with a multiplayer would be so insanely good
Whofreak555
I miss when Sony would just throw a bunch of games on a disc and sell them for a great price. The Ratchet and Clank and Jack and Daxter collection were amazing value
-FeistyRabbitSauce-
Gotta be honest…
These games were crud. They felt shallow, and were entirely forgettable.
