Now I’m imagining some rookie wondering why the system gave them this weird handle, before a veteran NetWatch agent starts informing them about the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise.

Well, at least we still have zero confirmation that the Sequels happened. That, at least, is something.
Does this mean that Star Wars is canon to Cyberpunk?
Who knows? The prequels/sequels might actually have been decent in this timeline. Maybe in this timeline George just wrote the script and got someone else to direct.
